Who are the people behind Audio Law Reader?
Audio Law Reader is an independent app created by Ondrej Stanek as a student. At first, his idea was to make an efficient system that would help him with his studies and only later it grew into something Ondrej felt confident to share with others. Now, we are team of four enthusiastic creators spread across three timezones.
How does Audio Law Reader work?
Audio Law Reader is built on powerful principles of study skills, namely spaced repetition, active reading, active recall, cloze deletion, custom flashcards and highlights. It combines text-to-speech functionality with efficient memory techniques.
What makes you better than the alternatives?
There are apps for text-to-speech reading and software for spaced repetition but there isn’t any app that would combine all these functions and tailor it to study law which requires a slightly different approach than most study materials
Who is Audio Law Reader for? Is it primarily for students?
Whether you’re a law student studying for your exams or a legal professional who needs to get acquainted with a new law, you can greatly benefit from using our app. Listen to the study material during your morning jog and make highlights on your smartwatch or listen to the newest legislation additions when commuting to work. Audio Law Reader is for busy people who need to save time and make their studying efficient.
What kind of laws does Audio Law Reader contain by default?
By default, it contains all the most important legislations for each country, depending on your location. If you’re missing specific legislation you need to study, simply add your own material or ask us and we’ll add it for you.
What can I do if the app isn’t working or I want to report a bug?
Contact us directly through the app or our website.
Is your app secure? Where is my data stored? Is it encrypted?
All your data that is stored locally is encrypted in the Android secure storage and data on the server are stored in the state-of-the-art Google Cloud in a secure location.
How do I get access to your app after the free 7-day trial?
After the initial 7 days, you’ll be billed automatically. If you don’t want to continue using our app, just cancel the subscription. Your payment data is handled securely through Google Play.
When will my payment be charged?
After 7 days when your trial expires and then monthly or early depending on the subscription plan you chose.
Can I ask for a refund?
Of course! If you’re not satisfied or purchased the app by accident, contact our customer service and we’ll issue a full refund.
